I believe this is the third vehicle we have purchased from Steve;s Chevrolet. We had a different sales person this time and he was exceptional! Very friendly, knowledgeable & personable. Enjoyed working with him (John Machado).
My truck had a faulty lifter. This is a known problem for the engine in my truck. I believe all the lifters should be replaced but only 4 were replaced. If this happens again I will have to pay out of my own pocket. GM knows about the issue but refuses to take ownership. The fact that the standard power-train warranty dropped from 5 years 100,000 mile to 3 years 60,000 mile will definitely have me looking at Toyota, Ford or Dodge.
Set up an appointment with info on what I needed done told them specifics on part that I needed replaced got there and they didn’t have the part and was told it would take about 3 hrs came back 2 hrs later cause I live in Turlock I didn’t go back I just walked around and got food. Once I came back they said they still haven’t gotten to a couple things and that it would be another 3 hrs so I had ordered a Uber to take me back to Turlock then needed to get something out of my truck and they hadn’t even pulled it into the shop it was just parked in the back lot. So we left paid 30$ to get home and about 10 min after getting home got a call letting me know it was all ready. Wasted money on getting an Uber and didn’t really get what I needed done cause I guess they don’t pay attention to addition comments so it was a waste of my time and money
